Returns and Exchanges

Holiday Returns: Through December 25th, we will extend our standard return policy timeline for items purchased as GIFTS as long as they make their way back to The Store by January 6th.


We hope you will be happy with the items you order from, but if it’s not exactly as you had hoped, we will gladly accept returns and exchanges on merchandise with The Store tags still attached and with a copy of your receipt within 10 days from the date of delivery for full refund. Please note, we CAN NOT accept any returned merchandise that has been worn, altered, washed, or that smells of smoke or perfume. We reserve the right to deny returns on any items that do not fit these qualifications. In addition, all shipping and handling charges will not be refunded.


All face masks and undies are FINAL sales, and cannot be returned or exchanged. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash or refund, and can be used on our website,, and in our brick and mortar store, The Store in Mill Valley, CA.


If you wish to make a return, either make a website order return directly to our Downtown Mill Valley store, OR call (415)888-8796 noting your invoice number, and explaining which item(s) you'd like to return as well as the reason. We will issue an RA (Return Authorization) number over the phone. As soon as you have this RA number, ship back your unwanted items WITHIN 10 DAYS of the day you received them to:

Please write your RA number clearly on the outside of the box for our reference. Please also include a copy of your original receipt with the item(s) you’d like to return clearly circled and noted for us regarding reason for return. Send back your items using an insured shipper, as we are not responsible for packages that we do not ship ourselves. Refunds will be credited back to the same credit card you used to make your purchase the same day we receive the return.


If you’d like to exchange an item for another size or color, please send us an email at so we can hold the replacement for you until your return makes it way back to us.


Please also note, all The Store shipments are checked and double checked before we send them to you to ensure that the correct styles, sizes, and colors are shipped to you. Please inspect your items carefully upon receiving them.
