Spring Dresses

Hi friends. Welcome to the very first blog post from The Store Mill Valley.  We decided that creating a new post each month is a great way for us to let you know what’s happening in fashion and in our store. We hope you like it. And by all means, if there’s something you’d like to read about, let us know.  

If you’ve been in the store lately, you know that the Spring ‘21 is in full swing. And one of the spring arrivals we look forward to every year is DRESSES. This season there is no dominant length. We’ve got maxi dresses, minis, and knee length dresses in feminine prints, bold stripes and stunning solid colors including neutrals and soft pastels. And with the comfortable shoe trend here to stay, our dresses can be paired with flip flops, sandals, wear-all-day wedges and, of course, sneakers pair fashionably with absolutely everything. 

Below are some of our favorites:

The sliced agate safari dress by Le Superbe. A classic shirtdress style, this stunner is far from ordinary. The rich silky print feels comfortable on the body. Buttoned up, it’s perfect for Zoom calls or wear it after hours open as a duster. We love it paired with off-white jeans and a silky camisole or your favorite tee.

The Milly dress by 0039 Italy. We are in love with this lightweight 100% cotton tiered dress in an adorable mix of patterned blues. It’s an easy to wear fit, perfect for upcoming vacations. Oh, and this dress has POCKETS! Who doesn’t love that feature? For an on trend look, pair it with a Birkenstock-type shoe. It also looks adorable with some fresh, white sneakers, or take it a little dressier with a wedge or chunky heeled sandal. 

A perfect black mini dress by Lanston. Comfortable knit fabric and flattering pleats down the sides make this dress super flattering and easy to wear during the day with sneakers and a cute cross-body bag or layered necklaces and heels make it the perfect choice for date night.
